McNeese State Women’s Volleyball Team to Utilize Microbial Reduction Technology in Locker Room

August 13, 2020

Today the Women’s Volleyball team at McNeese State University announced that to provide the safest environment possible for their student athletes, Anti-Microbial Reduction equipment will be installed and utilized inside of the women’s team locker room. This equipment will serve as a key component in the larger effort to keep the locker-room and the rest of the facilities safe for the staff and student athletes.

“The safety of our athletes is paramount, and this equipment is an added measure that we have taken to help ensure our locker room is clean and safe,” said Kristee Porter, Head Women’s Volleyball Coach. “My goal is to have e a successful and safe season for my team this year”.

Consolidated Services of North America (CSNA) will be providing and installing the equipment in advance of the upcoming season. “We recognized that Universities across the country are faced with the dilemma of providing safe environments for their students,” said CSNA Vice President Chad Jones. “As the father of a college student and a fan of the McNeese State Women’s Volleyball Team we felt that this proven technology will provide added peace of mind to the staff, the student-athletes and the parents. We were happy to help.”

The Anti-Microbial Technology works by taking humidity and oxygen from the existing air and converting it into a safe, breathable form of hydrogen peroxide in a gaseous form attacking and breaking down dangerous microbes floating in the air and residing on surfaces. With it being in a gaseous form it can disinfect hard to reach and commonly missed surfaces. It has been proven to reduce dangerous microbes by up to 99.8% in as quickly as two hours.

Founded in 2012, CSNA has developed into one of the fastest growing facility service companies in the Gulf-Coast region of the United States. Today CSNA provides self-performed commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, warehouse, and facility disinfection services. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, CSNA’s team of licensed technicians provides regional service throughout Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.
